OCR: The Auto Trace To Submenu The Auto Trace To submenu offers options for tracing paint objects using polygons, smooth polygons, or Bezier curves. To auto trace a paint object or paint area, select it, pull down the Effects menu and drag to highlight Auto Trace To. Drag into the submenu to choose the option you want. Canvas traces the selection. Of the Bezier Curve, Smooth Polygon, and Polygon options, Polygon gives the most exact trace. However, since paint objects are naturally jagged, this option can result in a jagged tracing. The Smooth Polygon option results in a smoother trace with fewer edit points. The Bezier Curve option results in objects with the fewest edit points. You can use the Auto Trace Manager dialog box to customize the way Canvas auto traces paint objects.
